Around the Pisserote cascade

Go up towards Croix Verger (Google maps) by the small path.

1. Before the intersection, go left between meadow and culture.At the entrance to the forest, leave the path on the left and then two on the right in the valley of Barbenan.Turn left on the road to Chavroche. Ignore the path on the slope, pass the Barbenan and continue.
2. The path (PR) connects to the GR3A. At the statue of the White Virgin (on the right), turn left for Périchon then turn right. At the entrance of the hamlet of Blet, follow the road on the right for 400 m (beautiful view).
3. At the first bend to the right, take the path well signposted on the left. He climbs carefully on the slope 698, describing a slight right turn downhill to reach the Barbenan.At the crossing, turn left, cross the Barbenan and go 200 meters.
4. The path (PR) leaves the GR3A. Go east towards Biefs by a wide and beautiful path between fir trees and between meadows. At the first houses, go down 150 meters, leave the church on the right, turn left on a small grassy road. Continue 300 meters on the D26.
5. At the right turn, take the flat path on the left. Ignore two passages on the left, go straight to the crossroads and take the small road. Follow it 100 meters on the right then 200 meters on the D26.
6. At the intersection (right), continue straight ahead. The path follows the edge of the forest. At the crossing of Arnaud, take the path on the left then the road that leads to the Croix du Verger (specialty: tower on wooden easel). Cross the intersection carefully and go down in front of the car park.
